Today, our plan is to do nothing but sit on the beach and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing for a few hours.  Of course, we can’t leave you without a bowtie Friday pick, so we’re revisiting one of our favorite beach themed bows, the Beach Signs Beau by Southern Proper.  The post below originally ran on July 12, 2013.

Without question, the best part of Summer when we were kids was spending a week at the beach.  Who are we kidding, spending a week at the beach is still the best part of Summer.  Even though our annual pilgrimage is still a couple of weeks away, we’re getting into beach mode this Bowtie Friday with the Beach Signs Beau from Southern Proper.

As much as we love beaches with plenty of activity, we tend to steer towards lower key options when planning our beach trips these days.  Judging by the beaches Southern Proper chose to feature on this bow, it seems that they tend to do the same.  With signs for Southern favorites like Pawley’s, Tybee, and Seaside alongside classic beach balls, the Beach Signs Bow is one of our favorite Southern Proper releases this year.  Whether you pair it with a seersucker suit and pressed white shirt for a wedding, or something far more casual, this is a bow that will never be a bad choice this Summer.
